The Kasunga Zambia Foundation embodies Zambia's rich conservation and rural development history. With a diverse board comprising individuals with extensive experience in various sectors including wildlife, environment, communications, banking, mining, and community development, KZF boasts unparalleled knowledge and insight into conservation and socio-economic progress. KZF's visionary leadership and dedication to preserving Zambia's natural heritage facilitates its mission to enhance community development in rural areas and wildlife conservation.

KZF primarily works within the Munyamadzi GMA, through a Collaborative Management Partnership with the Frankfurt Zoological Society, the Community Resource Board and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife. The KZF focuses on the following 6 key areas of conservation and development: Natural Resource Management, Operations and Management, Tourism and Development, Local Community Engagement, Heritage Resources Development, and Infrastructure Development.

Charity Begins at Home is the charitable arm of the Bushcamp Company, a safari lodge operator with six exclusive bushcamps and an award winning lodge in Zambia’s iconic South Luangwa National Park.

The Bushcamp Company is committed to the wildlife and people of the South Luangwa and work closely with the expanding local community and conservation organizations to develop projects that help protect precious resources, support education, and generate a sustainable source of income to those who live around the Park.

In 1999, The Bushcamp Company started providing much-needed help to two local schools: Chiwawatala Primary School in Mfuwe Village, and Chilongozi Primary School in a remote area close to their bushcamps. Since then, they have embarked on 27 years of community and conservation involvement and donated over 7 million US dollars to different community and wildlife projects.
